- Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter N Chandrababu Naidu remembered Dr Kalam. He tweeted: “I pay back my humble tributes to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his dying anniversary. No text can suffice to praise his contributions as a scientist and as ‘People’s’ President. His terms and deeds will are living on and carry his terrific legacy ahead. #apjabdulkalam”
- Main Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh wrote, “I pay back my tributes to the missile man of India. Fondly remember getting ‘State of States award’ from Dr #APJAbdulKalam Ji. He famously reported “Dream, Aspiration, Desire. Dreams renovate into feelings and feelings end result in motion.” I hope our youth will for good be impressed by him.”

Also, Union Minister for Details and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar had introduced the biopic of Dr Kalam in Delhi in February this year. It is to be designed in Hollywood, in a number of Indian languages, with the aid of governments of India and the US.
